You are going to need a jack, the spare tyre, and the tyre iron which is used to loosen and remove the tyre and bolts.
You are going to need to get your car jacked up off the ground to make it possible to get the tyre off. The jack has a lever that is used to pump the car off the ground. You need to ensure there is enough room between the ground and the tyre to get it off and get the new tyre on. You will be using the tyre iron to loosen all the lugs and nuts to remove the tyre.
After all the nuts are loosened and removed, you will then be taking the tyre off of the car. You are going to turn the nuts to the left to get them off and you will then get your spare tyre lined up so make sure you are safely getting it on your car. Be careful as for some these tyres are rather big and heavy so you need to be stable so you don’t cause any damage or cause any accidents from the tyre rolling into the road.
Now that the spare tyre is in place, you will replace the lug nuts. Then, you will be ready to go on your way driving your car again. You must be very careful to not go too fast on the spare tyre, and have the tyre replaced with a full size tyre as soon as possible. It is never a good idea to drive on a spare tyre for too long, because it is not as durable as a regular sized tyre.
