Where Do You Live?

State:

When it comes to owning a brand new car, no one can deny that it is a very appealing prospect. You are definitely going to have an air of exhilaration about you for weeks after you have bought a brand new car. There is such a great sense of pride when you drive out of a showroom with a new vehicle and driving it around is going to be exciting for a while. The feeling when you get to pull off the plastic wrapping from the seats is one that cannot be beaten; neither can the smell of a new car. So it is no wonder that many people are happy enough to get into debt for the enjoyment they feel from owning a brand new car.

The question has to be asked though, that if it is really worth getting into debt for the pleasure of having a new car. Sure we may be able to think of plenty of reasons to justify the purchase; maybe our old car is falling apart or we need something new for work. However it is important to decide whether you have any other options besides getting into debt. If you could get a second hand car then you might not need to borrow and surely this would be better? Would you not be better off leasing a new car as opposed to buying a new car? You should consider these options before you take out a loan because it won’t be long before the new car feeling wears off and then you will still have plenty of money left to pay back.

When it comes down to it, you will have a number of choices. There are a lot of us who feel the benefits of owning a brand new car make it the ideal option. Although I would agree that having a new car is a wonderful experience, I think the person buying it needs to be aware of the debt they will be getting into and that they are happy with this before they buy.
