America is home to some of the best driving roads in the world. Route 66 is probably the most famous road but there are many more like that all over.The roads that run across the length and breadth of the country are generally well maintained and managed so your trip should be stress free. But what is the best form of transport for youradventure holidays in America?

Camper van. If you’re a true traveler then picking up an old camper-van at the start of your holiday, powering across the country, and then selling it at your destinationis great fun. As you get quite a bit more room with these vehicles, you can take more with stuff with you and also more people. On top of this, you’ll save lots of money buy not having to pay for food and accommodation along the way

Convertible. There is nothing more iconic than cruising across down those long roads with the top down and the wind in your hair. The convertible car is a vehicle that is synonymous with American transport and there is a massive choice of pick from.  Personally I would go for an old Cadillac and would rent rather than buy one. This is what a lot of people do on their fly drive holidays  All you need now is a model  girlfriend/boyfriend and some country and western on the radio to make your trip complete

Motorbike. Traveling around on two wheels is one way to put some fun into your trip, especially if you’re bike is big and the sun is out. This truly is the ultimate way to travel across the states and experience all that the American scenery and culture has to offer. Getting a Harley Davidson is the obvious choice, and a good one at that. These bikes are American through and through and are a dream to drive. If you go for this option then make sure you invest in some decent safety gear as the last place you want to end up on your trip is in the hospital
