When Buying A Car, Which Colour Should You Go For?
Where Do You Live?
Choosing your car colour is a big step and unfortunately there are a lot of us who regret our decisions in this regard. Getting a car re-sprayed is not easy or inexpensive so the colour that you choose is something that you are going to be stuck with for quite some time. Here are just a few tips that will hopefully mean that you will be happy with your choice.
- It is probably best to avoid the most outrageous colours like limes and yellows even if they seem like a good idea at the time. The number one reason why people grow to dislike the colour of their car is because they originally decided on something that was too original. Choosing a colour that is totally off the wall is a sure fire way to end up unhappy with your choice. The most common car colours like white, gray, and black are probably the least likely to lead to buyer’s remorse.
- You will probably be best choosing a colour that hides dirt well unless you don’t mind having to clean it all the time.
- It is helpful to actually see the colour on the exact model you are considering. Looking at a picture can be misleading and the car might have a much different impact in reality. If you don’t get to see what a colour looks like in reality before choosing it then you are going to be taking a big risk.
- Stick some pictures of the car in different colour up on your wall where you can see them and mull over it for a few days. Quite often, people will choose a colour on the spur of the moment and then will end up regretting it later.
